About
My name is Tom Patchett, I hand build models of all types, ranging from houses for architecture firms, to scenery for wargames, to various life like creations. I also do a lot of drawing and painting, again ranging widely from real life to the complete imaginary.
I am from Wellington, New Zealand, but currently live in Manchester, United Kingdom, as I have for the last three years. I am thirty years old and work as an Architectural Technician for an architecture firm, I work mainly on city centre apartments, and car show rooms.
I have always been into model making from a young age, unsurprisingly Lego was my favourite childhood toy. Growing up I built a lot of models and got into Warhammer 40k, this really allowed me to get delve into my passion for creative models of anything I wanted. My first after school job was making models at an architecture firm of new modern residential houses. From there I continued making models for various clients around New Zealand and the world, mainly architectural models and Warhammer scenery, but also other specialist models such as model ships for Heritage John Carter and busts of infamous people.
I am interested in model making of all types, I am willing to give new ideas a go and create the best model, artwork or creation possible. Please feel free to get in touch and let me know what you are looking for, we can have an open conversation about what’s possible.
